Tonight, the NFL preseason officially begins as the Carolina Panthers take on the Arizona Cardinals in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio. We’ll get to see rookie Carson Beck in action as he suits up and starts for the Cardinals in his NFL debut.
Although we’re still more than a month away from the 2026-27 NFL regular season, Kalshi NFL prediction market traders have already placed approximately $55 million in forecasts on which team will win the Lombardi Trophy on Valentine’s Day 2027. Let’s take a look at the chances for the Rams, Seahawks, and Bills below.
The Los Angeles Rams have been a highly competitive team ever since head coach Sean McVay took over the reins. This year, the Rams have an “all or nothing” mentality in terms of winning the Super Bowl, as last year’s MVP Matt Stafford returns at the helm of the Rams’ offense. Puka Nacua and Davante Adams will likewise return as Stafford’s main passing targets, which has elevated the Rams’ per-contract price up to 16 cents to win it all.
The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are more favorably priced at 8¢ per contract. Head coach Mike Macdonald and starting QB Sam Darnold will team up once again in an attempt to repeat as world champions in February. The Seahawks won 14 regular season games last year en route to their Super Bowl victory over the Patriots.
The Buffalo Bills will once again have Josh Allen to lead the team’s offense, but it will be rookie head coach Joe Brady calling the plays from the sidelines once the preseason begins. Priced at 8¢ per contract to win the Super Bowl on Kalshi, the Bills are the frontrunner in that market for the AFC Conference.
Tonight’s Hall of Fame Game may mark the official beginning of the NFL preseason, but fans won’t be able to watch more preseason action until Thursday, August 13th. There are a number of teams that are reasonably priced to win Super Bowl LXI if you’re hunting for a bargain.
The Kansas City Chiefs are listed at 6 cents per contract for the first time ever heading into the preseason, while the Eagles and Bengals can be bought for 5¢ apiece. If either of these teams shows a spark leading into the regular season, traders won’t be able to purchase their “yes” options for such a low price.
We think there’s plenty of value to be had in the NFL Championship market on Kalshi, just not with the current frontrunners. Our pick is on the Eagles to win the franchise’s third Super Bowl Lombardi Trophy once the clock has expired on Valentine’s Day.
Superstar players typically spend more time on the bench than on the field during the NFL preseason. This is why we recommend evaluating from a distance and choosing Super Bowl winner contracts that are priced under 8 cents during the preseason.
The winner’s market probably won’t move a lot based on preseason results. However, once the regular season begins, traders will be locked out of single-digit contracts for certain teams that start their season with a record of 1-0.
