Sunday Night Football arrives in Seattle this weekend as the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs look to improve to 6-0 against a preseason Super Bowl favorite that finds itself three games out of first place in the NFC West division.

As traders who use prediction market apps already know, the Chiefs are one of only three remaining teams without a loss in the 2026 NFL regular season. As of early Friday morning, the market for this game on Kalshi is already approaching $2 million.

Chiefs v Seahawks NFL Week 7 Picks

After starting the season 2-0, the Seahawks have dropped two straight and three out of their last four contests. All except one of Seattle’s regular season games have ended with a difference of one possession or less. In other words, the team is struggling to dominate opponents despite all the preseason hype around its “Dark Side” defense.

The Chiefs should have no qualms taking this game to Seattle and winning on the Seahawks’ home field, despite the 12th Man presence. Last season’s Super Bowl MVP, Kenneth Walker III, is expected to run around the defense he shared a locker room with less than nine months ago. Patrick Mahomes is healthy and looking sharp, Travis Kelce is back to his old form, and the Chiefs have too many weapons to pass on their 44¢ contract price.

We’re going with the upset all the way, and are gleefully taking the 2.5 points that the Kalshi market is currently offering at 38¢. Look for the Chiefs to continue their regular-season perfection this Sunday night and for the Seahawks to drop to a concerning 3-4 record.

Chiefs v Seahawks NFL Week 7 Latest News

Aside from wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, the Seattle Seahawks are suffering from inconsistency on the offensive side of the ball. Quarterback Sam Darnold threw two picks in Seattle’s 17-14 defeat at the hands of Denver during the Week 6 Thursday Night Football game. Simply put, Seattle can’t afford to go 3-4 in a division in which the top team has an undefeated record (the San Francisco 49ers) and already holds a tiebreaker in head-to-head matchups.

If Andy Reid can navigate his team to a 6-0 record, the Chiefs have a clear postseason path ahead of them. Three of their next four games will be against the Cardinals, Falcons, and Jets. While it remains doubtful that Kansas City can pull off a perfect regular season, a win this Sunday night will put them in a position for a potential No. 1 seed in the AFC Conference.

Chiefs v Seahawks NFL Week 7 Market Movement

We believe NFL prediction market forecasters are over-emphasizing the effectiveness of the 12th Man at Lumen Field. Yes, the game is scheduled for prime time, but Seahawks fans were practically lulled to sleep in the team’s Week 1 season opener against the Patriots. It took three fourth-quarter interceptions from Drake Maye to wake them up.

We don’t expect this market to move much before kickoff due to how insistent the market is on positioning the Seahawks as the favorites to win. For this reason, the Chiefs’ contracts at 44 cents each are a true bargain for forecasters who believe Kansas City will roll over Seattle to win its sixth straight game of the season.
