Week 3 of the 2026 NFL regular season has already surprised many NFL prediction markets following the Atlanta Falcons’ 35-14 thumping of the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Thursday Night Football. This Sunday, the Los Angeles Chargers seek to likewise pull off an upset against the Buffalo Bills at their new home, Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park.
For the Bills, the season couldn’t have started any better. Buffalo is 2-0 and is mowing teams down with its potent offensive attack led by former MVP quarterback Josh Allen. But the Chargers are in dire need of a victory this Sunday afternoon. They’ve started the season at 0-2 with losses to the Cardinals and AFC West Division rival Raiders.
The Buffalo Bills may be vulnerable on the defensive side of the ball, but they have Josh Allen, James Cook, Dalton Kincaid, and Khalil Shakir to make up for it. Wide receiver DJ Moore is listed as questionable, but the Kalshi market is still placing the Bills’ contract prices to win this Sunday afternoon at 76¢ each.
Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers haven’t looked anything like the team that made the playoffs last season. The former Oregon quarterback has completed less than 60% of his passes and thrown three interceptions (versus two touchdowns) to start the regular season.
Los Angeles has only scored 14 points in each of its first two games. That’s nowhere near enough points to compete with the Bills. We’re predicting Week 3 will result in a “humiliation at Highmark” for the Chargers and are therefore picking up contracts on Buffalo to win by more than 7.5 points.

Rookie wide receiver Skyler Bell could see action this Sunday for Buffalo if DJ Moore and Keon Coleman are unable to suit up. At this point, the biggest challenge facing head coach Joe Brady is avoiding a “letdown” game. The Bills have the highest-scoring offense in the NFL right now, posting an average of 38.5 points per game. They’ve also allowed 31 points in each of their wins (against the Lions and the Texans), but the Chargers’ offense isn’t expected to put up much of a fight this Sunday in Orchard Park.
Sports forecasters aren’t anticipating a close game. With about $750,000 traded on the outcomes, Kalshi traders have bumped up the Bills’ chances from 60% to 75% since the market opened in Week 1.
Traders who expect a Buffalo rout of the Chargers should secure the 76¢ contracts while they last. If Buffalo scores a quick touchdown in the first quarter, the team’s contract prices will likely surge to more than 80¢ each.
