With the 2026-27 NFL regular season just ten days away, a quick look at NFL prediction markets shows that the Los Angeles Rams have retained their frontrunner status to win Super Bowl LXI on Valentine’s Day 2027 at SoFi Stadium.
Kalshi forecasters currently have the Rams listed at 17¢ per contract to become the next NFL Lombardi Trophy winner with approximately $76 million in total trading volume. By comparison, the Buffalo Bills are only trading at 8¢ per contract despite being rated as the second-most likely team to win Super Bowl LXI.
The Rams appeared to have all the tools necessary to capture their third Super Bowl title earlier this year when they entered the NFC Championship Game against the upstart Seattle Seahawks. But after giving up a late first-half touchdown, Los Angeles wasn’t able to rebound from a 17-13 deficit and lost that game by a final score of 31-27 to the eventual Super Bowl champions.
This year, the Rams have one more incentive to propel them past the conference championship: a potential “home game” at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood for Super Bowl LXI. The last time the Rams won a Super Bowl, they outlasted the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 at SoFi Stadium in February 2022.
Still, a 17-cent contract price may seem overpriced to traders who are seeking value on the nation’s most popular federally regulated prediction platform. The Buffalo Bills and Seattle Seahawks have contract prices that aren’t nearly as steep.
The Rams’ 2026-27 NFL regular season schedule ranks just slightly more difficult than “average” in terms of opposing teams’ winning percentage from the previous year. However, their Week 1 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers will take place in Melbourne, Australia.
The teams’ contrasting approaches to dealing with the 17-hour time difference have attracted the attention of sports fans and the scientific community alike. San Francisco will arrive in Melbourne more than a week before the September 10th Thursday Night Football kickoff. The Rams are attempting a highly scrutinized strategy, confirmed by head coach Sean McVay, of touching down in the Land Down Under just 24 hours before the Week 1 game begins.
Aside from the mandatory six regular season contests against NFC West Division rivals, the Rams are scheduled to play against all NFC East and AFC West teams between now and Week 18 of the regular season.

Los Angeles’ bye week will arrive in Week 11, but will be cut short by several days due to its Thursday Night Week 12 home game against the Packers.
