Somehow, after only three weeks of regular season play, the Miami Dolphins have found themselves as actual “favorites” to own the worst 2026 NFL regular season record. The distinction is actually quite impressive considering that there are currently five teams that have yet to win a single game after Week 3.
Why are forecasters on NFL prediction markets so confident in the Dolphins’ continued demise? And could their 54¢ per-contract price to finish below all remaining 31 NFL teams at the end of the regular season represent a worthwhile purchase? Here are the three teams that are leading the $1.2 million Kalshi market for worst NFL regular season record.
Where to start? The Miami Dolphins are scoring an average of 12 points per game, tied for 31st in the league. They’re getting outscored by an average of 16.67 points per game by opponents (that’s definitely a league-worst metric).
Two-touchdown favorites are a rarity in the NFL, but Miami could face multiple teams that are listed at such a high price if it doesn’t find a way to improve. The Dolphins’ next anticipated beatdown is scheduled for this Sunday afternoon in Minneapolis against the Vikings, followed by a home game against Cincinnati before a merciful Week 6 bye.
Miami has been a tough team to watch in recent years due to the multiple concussions suffered by former Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. But he’s in Atlanta now, and Miami is still hard to root for on any given Sunday unless you’re a true Dolphins fan. Traders who want to get in on this “hot” Kalshi market will need to shell out 54¢ per contract, a price that may seem cheap by the time January rolls around.
The Titans are laughably tied with the Houston Texans in the AFC South after three weeks of regular season play. While the Dolphins and Patriots take the honor for fewest points scored, the Titans are very close to 31st with only 12.33 points per game.
The Cam Ward experiment isn’t going all that well in Nashville. He’s averaging just over five yards per passing attempt, has a QB rating that hovers around 80, and has a cumulative record of 3 wins versus 17 losses after being selected first overall by the Titans in the 2025 NFL Draft.
However, the Titans’ contract price for the worst regular season record is just 20¢, a far cry from the Miami Dolphins. There’s some solace to be found in that fact… somewhere.
The Cardinals shocked NFL fans in Week 1 by defeating the Los Angeles Chargers, but it turns out that may not be the impressive victory it originally appeared to be. After all, the Chargers have a worse regular season record than Arizona after three weeks.
After getting blown out by the Seahawks in Phoenix, the Cardinals’ starting quarterback and captain Jacoby Brissett had to throw 52 passes just to keep up with the 49ers. But the team lost that game by a final score of 36-30 in Santa Clara.
This week, Arizona travels to East Rutherford to take on the New York Giants, who are weathering the quarterback-injury storm after first-stringer Jaxson Dart was lost for the season in Week 2. The Giants are a well-coached team, if nothing else. The Cardinals are deciding whether to stick with Jacoby Brissett or ship him to another team before the November 10th trade deadline.
