The latest NFL rookies and future stars have found new homes across the NFL, so we now turn our heads towards this year’s campaign. With the help of prediction market specialist Kalshi, we’ve created this guide on the latest Super Bowl contenders.

Overview: Top Contenders Ahead Of Super Bowl LXI

As you would anticipate, prediction market apps have already been busy reviewing the latest signings, fresh recruits from the NFL draft, and past performance to establish a base for this year’s picks.

On initial viewing, you will see that the Los Angeles Rams lead the way; however, much of this is based on confirmation that the Super Bowl LXI will be played at the Lo-Fi Stadium. Away from the Rams, things remain pretty tight. Unsurprisingly, the Hawks come in a close second after a demolition of the Patriots in last year’s Super Bowl, followed by Kansas City and the Buffalo Bills.

LA Rams

This year, Super Bowl LXI will be played at the Lo-Fi Stadium. On paper, this instantly gives the Rams a head start on the rest of the field, but they do need to surpass last year’s champions (Seattle) and the San Francisco 49ers before they even make it out of the NFC West.

These big matches will really set the tone for the rest of the pack, as a positive season for the Rams could see the Seahawks’ aspirations dented. Beyond the fact that LA has the home-field advantage, we already know that the team has plenty of potential and established talent. Depth is the real drawback when looking at the squad, and injuries early on in the season could do significant damage.

Seattle Seahawks

Last year’s dominance is more than enough reason to find the Seahawks back in the mix. Naturally, the team will be looking to go back-to-back and reclaim their title, and the Lo-Fi Stadium is somewhere that they already visit once a year.

Quarterback pressure was how the Seahawks managed to control games defensively – something that can really pay off in high-stakes matchups, like the Super Bowl. Of course, offensively, we saw a heavy ground game and versatile aerial threats all over the park, making them tough to cut off when in possession.

Kansas City Chiefs

We now switch from the NFC West to the AFC West and take a look at the Kansas City Chiefs. Now, if we go back five or so years, we would have expected the Chiefs to be leading the charge; however, after a fairly disappointing few seasons, could we now see a comeback?

The defensive and offensive lines have always proven to be the foundation of a strong Chiefs team. Of course, that is without touching on the ever-reliable Mahomes at QB. Now, we also see the likes of McDuffie canceling any aerial threats from the opposition; we just have to wait and see whether Kelce, Rice, and Worthy will dominate.

Could We See A Surprise Winner?

It is still early days for any team to be truly considered as a surprise winner. After all, if you can start strong and remain consistent, then the nature of the single-game playoffs can throw up all sorts of madness ahead of the main event.

That being said, you do have to take a serious look at the rosters and last season’s performances. New QBs, offensive powerhouses, and defensive warriors have been brought in to strengthen the weaker sides from last year, but most will need a season or two before the jump between college ball and the NFL is met. With this, it is hard to look beyond the likes of the Seahawks, Chiefs, Bills, Rams, and Eagles.

Trading the Super Bowl LXI Market on Kalshi

Over at Kalshi, you will find that all is fairly even across the board. Naturally, this can prove to be a fantastic time to get into the market, but the NFL is so unpredictable that you may be best to hold tight before rosters are confirmed and a few pre-season games have been played. This table covers things as of today.

Our Pick: The Seahawks Is Our Very Early Super Bowl Pick

We would be quick to suggest that it is too early to predict an outright winner of Super Bowl LXI. Based on performance alone, it is hard to look past the sheer dominance of the Seahawks from last year, but can they carry that same dominance into this season?

Of course, the LA Rams are considered the favorites for now, but most of this is based on the home-field advantage. They do have a dangerous team and a strong defensive unit, but they have to physically make it to the Super Bowl before this advantage plays into their hands. Rest assured we will keep you updated throughout the regular season. But if you’re ready to trade on this market, tap the banners on this page to get started on Kalshi.
