The moment hockey fans around the world have been waiting for has finally arrived! Tonight marks the beginning of the NHL Stanley Cup Final between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes.

If you’re looking for more of a “longshot” line, then a Game 1 Vegas win by more than 1.5 goals can be bought for 22 cents per contract. With so much prediction market momentum veering in favor of the Hurricanes, we like the Golden Knights to pull off the upset and seize home-ice advantage for the remainder of the series.
As mentioned above, the injury reports for both teams are clean, which brings us to the impact that the teams’ respective offensive attacks will have during the series opener. There’s no denying the Shots on Goal (SOG) edge that both Carolina and VGK enjoyed in their conference final matchups.

Forecasters who use the Kalshi app to place trades have severely punished the “go-to-overtime” line for Game 1 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final. An overtime period for the first game of the series is currently trading at 19 cents, but could go down even more due to trading pressure.
The most popular lines for Game 1 (aside from the eventual winner) are those linked to point spreads. Forecasters are predicting – through the correlating odds – that whichever team wins tonight will do so by at least 1.5 goals.
