The Polymarket international prediction exchange launched combo trades recently to enormous fanfare. The format allows customers to combine up to 32 markets into a single trade in hopes of guessing all parts correctly and taking home a massive payout.
In the spirit of the new product, Polymarket has announced that it is awarding $50,000 in daily prizes to the most successful combo trades during each 24-hour cycle. To claim part of the daily prize pool, traders will need to win one of the five most successful combo trades by return percentage.
A quick look at the current Combo Cup leaderboard on Polymarket shows some amazing wins that users have already locked in via combo trades. One customer turned a $11 original, 7-leg combo trade into $1,100 – a 9,900% return, which resulted in a bonus Combo Cup payout of $20,000.
The current daily payouts show that the highest return percentages obtained by Polymarket users during each 24-hour period will receive bonus Combo Cup payouts as follows:
From what we’ve seen so far, the most successful combo trades have ranged from just 2 legs all the way up to 8 legs. All five of the inaugural winners of the promotion received bonus payouts that far exceeded the monetary value of their winning combo trades.
Participating in a Polymarket combo trade is easy. All you have to do is access the multi-leg format by clicking or tapping on the menu button to begin. If you’d rather choose a specific market first and then see further options, you can do so at your own convenience.
In order for your trade to qualify as a combo, it must contain at least 2 legs. While the odds and potential payout can vary widely, it is important to remember that all legs of any combo trade must be successful to win the advertised payout. If just one prediction contained within the combo trade goes awry, the entire trade is graded as a loss.
As one might imagine, multi-leg combos can offer significant payouts but are much more difficult to correctly predict when compared to traditional one-event trades. The more legs, the larger the degree of difficulty (assuming all legs have equal odds to be successful).
If you’re extremely confident that five “clear favorites” will succeed, you can try a 5-leg combo trade that will pay out quite a bit more than if you had successfully predicted all five outcomes separately. Be wary, though, as one wrong guess will wreck your combo trade and bring its value to zero.
By contrast, lumping together a few longshot choices can turn a few dollars into four or five figures quite easily. However, the same caveat of having to win all legs goes for those trades as well.
If you’d like to jump into combo trading and take a shot at winning your part of a $50,000 Combo Cup prize pool, you can sign up now and begin trading instantly on Polymarket. The Combo Cup daily promotion ends July 31st, 2026.
