Report: ESPN To Hire Randy Moss, Boot Ray Lewis And Cris Carter
Photo: [object Object] Randy Moss will join ESPN, according to The Big Lead. The former NFL wide receiver was a pregame analyst for Fox Sports last season. The Worldwide Leader will reportedly shuffle off bapping analyst Cris Carter and NFL crime expert Ray Lewis.
ESPN is rebuilding its stable of NFL coverage. Earlier this year, the network moved Mike Ditka to a new role where he can “watch NFL games on Sundays and Monday nights in the comfort of my own home,” and hired Matt Hasselbeck and Charles Woodson as studio analysts. ESPN’s new strategy appears to involve removing the crazy people and finding new, possibly more levelheaded voices.
