Sad Alabama Fans: A Gallery
The best way to watch a dynasty end is to turn your head from the field, and look at the crowd.
There are two ways to look at Oklahoma's 45-31 victory over Alabama. The first, to which Crimson Tide fans are no doubt clinging this morning, is that Bama simply didn't care. Anything short of a title is a failure, and since that possibility disappeared over 109 yards of Jordan-Hare turf a month ago, the Sugar Bowl was just an exhibition to be gotten out of the way.
The second is that Oklahoma is on the rise, that Trevor Knight is a star in the making, that Alabama's vaunted defense sputtered for the second game in a row, and that nobody can win a national championship every year.
Let's go to the photo wires and the screengrabs for a gallery sure to warm your heart: a children's treasury of sad Bama fans.
