This is an expansion on one of my favorite slots, but what has changed in this edition vs the original Thunder Coins game from Playson? The key difference is in the grid: while there are still only three reels, there are five rows, which gives you more paylines, a high volatility rating and a whopping 5,405x maximum multiplier.
As with the original, there are also Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand jackpots to be won. However, what always keeps me coming back to this slot is the signature Thunder Coins bonus feature, which boosts your winnings by collecting multiplier values from other symbols. Another great thing about this slot is that the long reel makes it ideal for playing one-handed using the McLuck app.
I genuinely can’t remember the last time that I was left feeling disappointed after playing a new slot by Pragmatic Play, but Sumbo Safari is an all-timer, even by their high standards.
