I was super excited to write this Candy Coins review, as it’s my first time encountering a site like this. Yes, you can play sweepstakes casino games, which is hardly unique. But the Battle Arena concept offers something totally different.

Have you ever played slots against two other people simultaneously? What about using weapons to sabotage their performance and ensure you come out on top? All of this happens under pressure, too – you only have 60 seconds to beat your opponents. That’s the kind of action-packed experience Candy Coins offers – the casino-style games are just a bonus.

There are two parts to Candy Coins. The main element is the Battle Arena, with its player versus player slots contests. Basically, you play a unique slot game and try to outperform two opponents. There are XP rewards if you do well, plus the honour and pride that goes with success.

In addition to the Battle Arena, you can play a small selection of casino-style games with a virtual currency that only exists on this platform. You know the drill, I’m sure – it’s the standard sweepstakes model that’s taken the country by storm in recent years.

How does Candy Coins actually work?

Candy Coins has two virtual currencies, but they’re a bit different to most sweepstakes casinos.

  • Candy Coins (CC) – These are used to play casino-style games and can be redeemed for real money prizes, subject to terms and conditions. They are just like the “Sweeps Coins” found at similar platforms.
  • Battle Passes (BP) – These are entry tickets to the Battle Arena. You can compete on demand, or take part in week-long tournaments, as long as you have at least one Battle Pass. They cannot be used to play casino-style games.

Where are the Gold Coins? Well, there aren’t any. Unlike most sweepstakes casinos, which offer two different gameplay modes, Candy Coins removes the free-to-play option. If you want to play slots and table games, you need Candy Coins.

That won’t be suitable for everyone – I’m sure many people enjoy the free-to-play aspect of sweepstakes casinos. But if that’s you, you already have dozens, if not hundreds of places to play. I really like that Candy Coins is trying to innovate and provide a different form of entertainment. When I signed up, I got 2 CC and 2 BP to start with.

How to get Candy Coins and Battle Passes

Both CC and BP can be obtained through promotions, including a daily login reward, friend referral bonus and a six-tier loyalty system built around XP (experience points).

There is no mail-in entry option like most sweepstakes platforms – the support team told me it’s coming soon. If that matters to you, read my TurboStakes review and learn how to get 2 free SC per entry.

Optional BP purchases

Alternatively, you can make an optional purchase of BP packages, all of which include some free CC as a bonus. These are entirely optional – you can just wait for the next bonus if you prefer to play for free.

Should you make a purchase, Candy Coins accepts Mastercard, Visa and American Express cards, or Apple Pay and Google Pay. There are no additional fees. Prices range from $9.99 to $499.99, but I’ve highlighted some of the more affordable options below.

$19.9910 BP10 CC
$29.9915 BP15 CC
$39.9920 BP20 CC
$49.9925 BP25 CC

Before jumping in and spending money, I recommend taking advantage of the Candy Coins bonus for new players first. This includes 2 BP and 2 free CC. That’s not quite as good as the welcome offer described in my Winbonanza review, but it’s more than enough to get you started.

Is Candy Coins safe?

Yes. If you’ve searched the site’s name, you might be worried by the lack of Candy Coins reviews online. Don’t worry, though – it’s a new site. It’s not had time to build a reputation.

When I wrote this review, I think it was still in a soft launch phase. Social media posts from July 31, 2026 announced it was “coming soon”.

Player protection

According to the terms of service, players must be at least 18 years old to play. The rules do not specify that players must meet the age of majority in their state, only that they must be 18 or older. However, if the legal age in your state is 21, it’s safer to follow the higher age requirement.

Your sensitive data is secured by SSL encryption, and the platform uses geoblocking to prevent unauthorized access – it’s for US players only. I was surprised to see that players in all 50 states are eligible. This could change in future, of course.

24/7 support

There’s an AI chatbot called Nova available behind the speech bubble icon. If you ask for a human, you’ll be connected right away. Email support is also an option via [email protected] – expect to wait up to 12 hours for a response.

Nearly 350 casino-style games

When I compiled this guide, there were just under 340 titles to enjoy, supplied by three different providers:

  • BGaming – 220 titles
  • Booming Games – 85 titles
  • Iconic 21 – 35 titles

This is on the small side. If you’ve seen my CrazyCoins Casino review, for instance, you’ll know that particular site offers more than 1,000 casino-style games. But it’s okay, as the social casino element is secondary. You’ll spend more time in the Battle Arena than the Candy Coins game lobby.

One reason for that is the platform’s “no loss” mechanic. If you lose Candy Coins playing casino games, you’ll receive an equal number of Battle Passes as compensation. For example, if you finish a session with 2 CC less than you started, you’ll find an extra 2 BP in your account balance.

Over 300 slots

The bulk of the library is composed of slots. You’ll notice a few useful tabs in the lobby, to help you find what you need. Things like “Bonus Buy” and “Sweet Picks”, as well as a “Favorites” tab for your bookmarked games.

Another one is “Top Games”, which displays the 15 most popular titles right now. I won’t reproduce them all here, but the table below gives a flavor of what other Candy Coins users are enjoying.

Live social casino

I was pleased to see a few live dealer tables, all of which are provided by ICONIC21. Again, it’s not the biggest live social casino I’ve ever seen – read my TitanTreasure review if you’re looking for a wider variety. But there’s roughly a dozen entertaining options, including:

  • Auto Roulette
  • Bet on Teen Patti
  • Crash Live
  • Gravity Blackjack
  • Gravity Plinko
  • Gravity Roulette
  • Gravity Wheel
  • Speed Blackjack

Redeeming your Candy Coins

If you manage to collect at least 75 Candy Coins in the casino, they can be redeemed for cash prizes. However, you’ll need to verify your email address and complete the KYC checks first.

Redemptions can be made via the same card used to purchase BPs. It could take anywhere from three to ten days for the prize to hit your account.

Unusually, there’s no playthrough requirement attached to CC awarded as part of a purchased BP package. However, if the CC came from a bonus, such as the sign up offer, you must play 2.5x in the casino before redeeming.

Battle Arena

In my eyes, this is the main event – I absolutely love this feature. For just 1 BP, you can enter two types of battle:

  • Sit & Spin – Play a unique slot game and try to score as many points as possible in 60 seconds. Two other opponents are also playing alongside you, and you can monitor their performance. The aim is to finish with a better score than both when the time expires. You may also choose up to six weapons to help sabotage your competitors and steal their points.
  • Weekly Tournament – The mechanics are the same as Sit & Spin, but you can enter as many contests as you like for your 1 BP entry fee. Whoever has the most points at the end of the week tops the leaderboard and wins the 50,000 XP jackpot. However, all of the top 999 players get some kind of XP prize. There are no CC rewards in the Battle Arena, only XP.

An innovative social casino with a fascinating twist

Candy Coins is essentially a sweepstakes gaming site. You can play almost 350 casino-style slots and table games with a virtual currency, and if you meet the terms, cash prizes are available. However, it’s the innovative Battle Arena that really makes it.

For me, competing in fast-paced slots battles against real players was by far the most entertaining part of the platform. There are no cash prizes in the Battle Arena, only XP rewards. But throwing bombs, deploying shields and firing freeze rays, all while trying to spin the reels, is incredibly good fun.

Give it a try, I’m sure you’ll love it too. Click a link on this page to visit the Candy Coins site and open an account. There’s a welcome bonus of 2 BPs and 2 free CCs waiting for you.
