I’d like to begin my Courtside review by discussing how the brand works. As mentioned in my intro, Courtside is a new social sweepstakes gaming destination for social betting and playing casino-style games. You don’t need to use real money here because it uses a sweepstakes model.
Instead, I received virtual currencies for my sessions: Courtside Coins and Courtside Cash. Both virtual currencies served as my entry into playing casino-style games; however, they played different roles. Here’s what I mean:
The Courtside Coins are exclusively for fun play, like the regular Gold Coins you’d find at other top sweepstakes casinos. I couldn’t redeem, exchange, or convert them to real prizes or rewards. However, like Gold Coins, they can be bought optionally from Courtside’s virtual currency store.
Think of Courtside Cash as the standard Sweepstakes Coins at other sweepstakes casinos. With Courtside Cash, you can redeem real prizes (cash prizes). However, prize redemption is only possible after you’ve met certain requirements.
At Courtside, you can claim its virtual currencies from a number of promotions. Below, I’ll be showing you the ongoing bonuses available to both new and existing players:
Once I registered my Courtside account, my virtual currency balance showed 1,000 Courtside Coins waiting for me. I claimed this bonus without entering any Courtside promo code during registration. Thanks to this bonus, I had instant access to try out a couple of casino-style games for free.
Each time I shared my Courtside referral link with my friends, I got a bonus once they signed up and verified their accounts. The only kicker was that I had to buy an optional Courtside Coin pack to access my referral link.
Courtside also lets you mail a handwritten request letter to its headquarters for Courtside Cash. You’ll receive 5 Courtside Cash when your letter passes the mail-in requirements. The details and instructions are written on its sweepstakes rules page.
Just so you know, Courtside is mobile-focused for both its social sportsbook and sweepstakes casino. Turns out its website is only for important information. I had to download the app via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. For my review, I installed it on an iOS device.
Based on my testing, the app is simple to use, and switching between the brand’s products is easy thanks to the bottom menu.
Going to the sweepstakes casino section, you’ll find a toggle at the top that lets you switch between Courtside Coins and Courtside Cash. Next to this toggle switch is your virtual currency balance.
Underneath, there’s a search bar to find your preferred titles, as well as tabs to access the different categories.
The main lobby is also organized by categories: slots, arcade, social live games, table games, instant games, and so on.
You can also access help, referral link, and settings using the “Account” button on the bottom menu. As for performance, I found the Courtside app stable and responsive on my iPhone. Pages also loaded fast, and I didn’t experience lag during my gaming sessions. I also did a Courtside test on an Android phone, and the experience was the same.
100+ casino-style games. 155.io social live games. Features arcade and instant win titles. T&Cs and 18+ apply
In my review, I also checked the payment methods Courtside offers for both optional Courtside Coin packages and Courtside Cash redemptions.
Before I get on with that, you should know that KYC verification is mandatory before you can buy Courtside Coins or redeem Courtside Cash for real prizes.
Regarding verification, I had to upload a photo of a valid ID on a bright background. For identity documents, you can submit either a residence card/green card, passport, driver’s license, or EAD/work permit card.
Further verification may be required for Courtside Cash redemptions, including proof of address.
Now, let’s look at the available payment options I found:
From my sessions, I noted that Courtside only accepts payments by debit/credit card (Discover, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) and bank transfer. Each optional Courtside Coin bundle came with free Courtside Cash as a bonus. I found non-mandatory Courtside Coin packages ranging from $10 to $500.
Remember that Courtside Cash only becomes available for prize redemption after you’ve satisfied certain requirements. Those requirements include a 1x playthrough and having a minimum of 50 Courtside Cash. Once ticked, you can request prize redemption.
From what I gather, Courtside doesn’t support gift card redemptions, so you’ll receive cash prizes in exchange for eligible Courtside Cash. As for Courtside’s prize redemption methods, I could select debit card (push to card), Venmo, PayPal, or bank transfer.
I prefer using debit cards, Venmo, and PayPal for Courtside Cash redemptions because their processing time is short. You can receive your prizes within minutes or a few hours once approved. Meanwhile, bank transfer may take 3-5 working days.
All in all, processing times still ultimately depend on verification and the amount of Courtside Cash to be redeemed. Also, during testing, I noted that Courtside only approves one Courtside Cash redemption per account once a week. Plus, the maximum cash prize redemption for Florida players is capped at 5,000 Courtside Cash.

Most Courtside reviews agree that the brand’s customer service is top-notch and reliable, so I had to see for myself. Turns out that they were all right. In my review, I discovered you can reach Courtside’s support team via email, phone, or its in-app live chat.
All of its support options are relatively quick at addressing issues; however, responses can still take up to 24 hours. I started with the live chat and received swift replies to all my queries. Email is also fast because an AI bot attends to all matters at first, but you can get connected with an agent.
If you want to avoid those AI walls, phone support is more reliable. Just call the contact number listed on its website to reach the support team; an actual human agent will assist you.
However, if you like to do things your own way, like me, there’s an FAQ section on its website that answers some common questions. You can get answers about its virtual currencies and what the brand is all about there.

I can’t conduct this Courtside review without checking its legal status. Courtside Games Inc. is the owner and operator of this brand, and this company adheres strictly to US sweepstakes laws. It also complies with local state laws on online gaming, which is why it’s not available in all US states.
At the time of writing, Courtside sweepstakes casino remains unavailable to players in New York, Nevada, New Jersey, Connecticut, Montana, California, Louisiana, Idaho, and Michigan. Only 18+ players residing outside these states can sign up and play its casino-style games.
Security-wise, Courtside ensures your information is under lock and key using encryption technology. Plus, it supports safe and responsible gaming. I found tools that kept me in check during my gaming activities, such as cool-offs, optional Courtside Coins limits, session limits, and self-exclusion.
Last but not least, let’s see what Courtside’s library has in store. During my review, I found just 100+ casino-style games, but don’t let the numbers deceive you. Even though it’s smaller than what other top sweepstakes casinos offer, you can expect a wide selection of titles.
As expected, I found the most titles in Courtside’s slot section. This category features classics, Hold and Win, and Megaways. Some of my favorite titles here are Cash Kong Bonanza, Coins of Zeus: Hold and Win, Buffalo Bounty XI, and Big Payday.
If you would rather spend your time dealing with cards than spinning reels, Courtside also has you in mind. I found titles for blackjack, craps, roulette, poker, and baccarat, as well as multiple variants from Betsoft and Dragon Gaming. Meanwhile, Courtside only had social live games from 155.io, which were around 11 titles at the time. My top picks here were Stairpong, Marble Plinko, and Rolling Dunes.
Besides these options, Courtside has instant-win titles, crash games, scratch cards, and arcade-style games. I had fun playing Triple Cash or Crash, Sea Treasures Scratchcard, Hoop Madness, Mines, and Chick vs Croc.
I’ve got to admit that Courtside exceeded my expectations as a new sweepstakes casino. Sure, it has a few ups and downs like every other site, but it’s still worth playing at. Its vast collection of casino-style games will certainly appeal to potential US players. I had fun moving from slots and arcade to social live dealers and table games, as well as instant-win titles.
Moreover, I started right away on these game categories for free using its no-purchase welcome bonus. If you ever need help, Courtside is reliable and offers multiple channels to assist you, including live chat, email, and phone.
Even though there’s no desktop version for playing here, the mobile app lets me access its features on the go. You can click the on-page banners to start playing at Courtside today if its features appeal to you.
