TangLuck Review: Detailed Rating of What to Expect From TangLuck

TangLuck is one of the newest sweepstakes casinos on the market. If you’re up for joining some fresh sites, then this TangLuck review is worth exploring. With a line-up of modern games, there’s a fair bit to unpack.

That said, there is room for a few improvements – but that’s the case with most sweepstakes casinos, in total honesty. TangLuck is still finding its feet, but I think it’s worth sticking with. I’ll share what makes TangLuck a site to join right here, which includes its selection of games, promotions, and website performance.

You’ll need to unlock additional games through the VIP program

At first glance, the library is rather limited. However, it didn’t take me long to figure out that more categories get added as you progress through the VIP program. To start with, you’ll be faced with slots, instants, and fish shooting games. Honestly, it’s not long-term enough, which is why I’m glad that there are other games to look forward to. Plus, TangLuck does release fresh games consistently.

To kick-start your gameplay, you can browse 600+ slots and 43+ other casino-style games powered by the likes of Booming Games and Evoplay. To give you a taste of what you can play from the get-go, here are a few titles I tested:

A vibrant website with easy navigation

One thing that stood out is that the website is incredibly smooth to move around. Every page is scrollable, which offers the perfect cross-device compatibility. I personally use a touchscreen laptop, which also worked well. To test the site’s loading speeds, I took a trigger-happy approach to tapping buttons. I wasn’t disappointed, because every page I landed on loaded instantly.

The only thing I will say that could be improved here is the game filters. Admittedly, the selection of games as a new player is modest, so it’s not necessary for now. I could only find games by clicking the category buttons or searching them by title. As I begin to unlock more games through the VIP program, this would soon become tired. For this reason, I’d like to see additional filters, such as the ability to search by theme, RTP, bonus features, and providers.

If you prefer an app-based experience, you are limited to an iOS app right now. There used to be an Android app, but this has been removed from the Google Play Store. It’s unknown whether this is temporary, but I hope it is.

Welcome bonus is modest, but the rest of the welcome package stands out

When I opened my account, I landed a one-off TangLuck bonus that’s just for new users. I was expecting at least a few thousand Gold Coins (GC) and perhaps one or two Sweeps Coins (SC), but this wasn’t the case. Instead, I was given 100 Gold Coins and 0.6 Sweeps Coins. In a sweepstakes world where the average is 100,000 GC and the smallest bonus I tend to get is 7,500 GC, this doesn’t hit the spot. At minimum, I’d like to see this bonus grow into the thousands.

As for the first GC purchase bonus, it’s rather a unique one. Not only will you get Gold Coins and free Sweeps Coins in your pack, but there’s also a 7-day offer. The bonus SC will be split across the next 7 days, giving you a batch of SC to wake up to every day. Beyond that, there’s also a 7-day pass.

So, for starters, you can get 450 GC for $3, along with 3 free SC and 1.5 bonus SC. Then, you can get a Jade Pass, offering you the following:

A 5-tier VIP program awaits you

As soon as I joined, I was given the status of Novice. There are four other VIP tiers to progress through, each containing bigger perks and more exclusive benefits to unlock. To start, the rewards aren’t too overwhelming. I was given a 5% SC redemption fee and a cap of $5,000. To be fair to TangLuck, the first tier at other sweepstakes casinos tends to offer little perks anyway. I would have just hoped to find something a little more exciting than fees, if I’m being critical.

As you unlock the upper tiers, you’ll receive exclusive rewards, including:

• Faster SC redemptions
• Weekly rewards
• Birthday gifts
• VIP priority support
• Access to table games and live dealers

The main reward that levels up, so to speak, are redemption-based. The size of these bonuses changes with every climb, providing you with the following:

Move up the tiers to VIP status

You can buy optional bundles of Gold Coins to top up your balance

If you want an extra boost, GC packs are available. These aren’t required to continue playing, but they could come in handy if you want a few extra virtual currencies to play with. All bundles come with free SC and bonus SC, similar to the deals I mentioned earlier. These bundles range from $10 to $500, which provides options that’ll suit most players. If I were to buy any GC packs, I’d tend to go towards the lower tiers, so it’s good to see small bundles in the mix.

To process your payments, you’re given the choice of Apple Pay, Visa, and Mastercard. While these are solid options, I’d like to see a few more added in the future. I’d personally use Mastercard and Apple Pay, but it would be nice to see other e-wallets like PayPal added to throw in more flexibility. Alongside those, bank transfers would also be good to see. They may not be as popular, but they are trustworthy and secure.

Redeeming eligible SC for real prizes comes with a few restrictions

Converting redeemable Sweeps Coins into real prizes is a feature that many players look forward to. In light of that, I made sure to investigate how the process works here, just as I did during my Casinio review. What’s important to note here is that the limits actually vary somewhat. To give you an idea, I found a 1x playthrough requirement, which is average. However, TangLuck explained that in some situations this can increase to a hefty 20x.

Once you have requested for a real prize redemption, you can expect it to arrive within 3 to 10 business days. Only cash prizes are available right now, so there aren’t any quicker options like gift cards, I’m afraid. With cash prizes being the only option, you will need to accumulate 100 eligible SC to qualify. While the timeframes aren’t fast, they are reasonable. It’s common for speeds to be up to 10 business days, so it’s not enough to put me off.

Some support options are 24/7, but it could be improved

Initially, I was pleased to find out that TangLuck provides a good amount of support options through live chat, email support, and a help center. It was short-lived, though. Especially when I discovered the Help Center button doesn’t work in the way I think it should. When I tapped this button, I was given the support email address, when I think it’s meant to take you to the FAQs.

The only 24/7 support option is email, which is great, but ideally the live chat will be rolled out around the clock, too. Due to the email opening hours, you can expect relatively fast responses. The team aims to reply to you within 12 hours, but in my experience it tends to be faster than this depending on how busy the team is. As for live chat, it might not be open as long as I’d like; you are instantly connected to an agent and given the ability to upload attachments.

TangLuck sweepstakes casino has strong security

To join any sweepstakes casino, you need to be physically located in a permitted US state. While this is true for all reputable sites, TangLuck has taken the security up a notch. You need to be located in an eligible state and not be using a VPN to gain access to the site. After a while, if you break either of these rules, you will lose access to the website and your account. The geolocation software here is second to none – no notes.

I’m also a fan of the Responsible Gaming page here. As I scrolled down the page, I was given lots of advice and tips. These tips covered topics like keeping track of your gameplay, making sure that gaming sessions are always fun, and how to limit your time spent in a healthy way. Aside from this, there are several tools, too. These tools help to keep you in full control and feel similar to what I found in my Rainbet.us review:

• Session Reminders – Get a reminder every hour you continue to stay logged in, once you’ve been active for 2 hours.
• GC Purchase Limit – Set a limit on how much you can spend on Gold Coin packages, so you can’t accidentally spend more than you want.
• Daily Time Limit – Put a cap on how many hours you can be logged in per day, such as 5 hours.

Conclusion: TangLuck’s gameplay experience is worth checking out

TangLuck has a lot going for it. Admittedly, there are a few areas of improvement, but you’ll be hard-pressed to find a site that is perfect. What stood out the most to me is the variety of quality games and high security measures. It was also great to see that the team responds to emails the same day, which makes up for the lack of live chat opening hours. Ideally, I’d like to see that all games are available regardless of VIP status, but it’s not something that breaks my enjoyment. Personally, I like casual games the most, so there’s a decent variety.
