Jokio combines casino-style games with real-money pari-mutuel horse racing, making it very different from the average social casino. In this guide, we explain what changes when you switch to an alternative to Jokio and compare five sites with larger libraries, stronger promotions, and different prize options.
Jokio may look like any regular casino-style site, but the mechanics behind each game are rather unusual. Instead of using a conventional Random Number Generator (RNG) or provably fair technology to determine whether a slot spin, roulette bet, or dice roll wins, Jokio links its games to real horse races.
As you can see, this approach differs considerably from those featured in our list of sweepstakes casinos and also requires you to fund the experience. This places Jokio within the part-mutuel gaming bracket, rather than a standard social casino.
The basic idea is that you fund your account with US dollars, purchase Credits, and then use those Credits to play casino-style games. Behind the scenes, each spin links to a real-money pari-mutuel racing wager. The big thing to bear in mind is that you don’t choose the horses. Instead, the system handles that part, then uses the racing outcome to produce the result displayed in your chosen casino-style game. This ensures that all outcomes still remain fair across the board.
At the time of writing, you can access 80 games, including 76 slots, two table titles, and two additional arcade-style games. This is substantially smaller than the sweepstakes game selection at some of our top alternatives. The platform is also only available in 9 states and requires you to be at least 21.
Jokio also operates under a real-money wagering setup linked to the Oregon Racing Commission, giving it a completely different structure from Crown Coins, LoneStar, Stake.us, McLuck, and MyPrize.US.
A site like Crown Coins or McLuck can provide a similar visual experience. You still open a gaming lobby, choose slots or other casino-style titles, and work your way through various rewards and promotions. However, the way you participate is different.
| Feature | Jokio | Sweepstakes alternatives |

| Purchases required to fully use main gaming mode | Yes | No |
| Potential rewards | Withdrawable wagering winnings | Eligible prize redemptions |
| Game library | 80 | 500–2,000+ among our alternatives |
The important takeaway is that a sweepstakes casino isn’t simply Jokio with a different currency name. You are moving from a wagering product into a no-purchase-necessary promotional model. For many of you, that may be the main reason you’re looking for an alternative.
Jokio’s casino-style games are tied to real-money racing wagers. You first add money to your Cash Wallet and then purchase Credits. Packages currently start at $10 and run through to $500. The welcome offer provides some protection during your opening session rather than handing you a free balance, but this is based on net losses during your first 24 hours only. You also need to use at least 10 Credits to qualify, and returned Bonus Credits carry a 1x playthrough before any resulting profits can become withdrawable.
This all looks rather different next to a sweepstakes casino. Crown Coins, LoneStar, Stake.us, McLuck, and MyPrize.US all provide virtual currency without requiring an initial purchase. This allows you to enter the gaming lobby, test releases, and understand the platform before deciding whether an optional Gold Coin package interests you. Purchases at these sweepstakes casinos remain optional throughout, with various ongoing promotions released along the way.
Jokio is new, having launched in June 2026, and this is reflected in its relatively small library. Eighty games is enough to provide several options, particularly if you mainly play slots. However, the limitations become obvious if you regularly switch between providers and categories.
You won’t currently find live dealer games, scratch cards, or the huge selection of tables and instant games available elsewhere. Even LoneStar, the smallest sweepstakes library among our five alternatives, provides more than 500 titles.
Crown Coins has over 700 slots, MyPrize.US has moved beyond 1,800 casino-style releases, McLuck exceeds 1,700, and Stake.us has more than 2,000. That doesn’t automatically make a larger lobby better, but it does give you much more to explore with your latest promo codes for sweepstakes casinos. Those numbers also matter if you want regular new releases or enough variety to avoid repeatedly working through the same selection.
Jokio currently has three main promotional offers worth knowing about: Creditback, boosts, and referrals.
What is missing is just as important, though. Unlike many of the alternatives to Jokio featured in this guide, you’ll find no traditional daily login bonus, no developed VIP ladder, no social media giveaways, and no alternative mail-in method comparable to sweepstakes casino AMOE promotions.
All five sites take a sweepstakes approach rather than copying Jokio’s horse-racing model. That means none is a direct replacement. Instead, we focused on the features you may want to improve: free access, game variety, mobile play, regular bonuses, social features, and prize redemptions.
Crown Coins immediately changes the starting point. Here, you can create an eligible account and receive 100,000 Crown Coins and 2 Sweepstakes Coins without making a purchase.
Crown Coins replace the usual Gold Coins you see. You can use these Crown Coins to explore games without building towards a redemption, while Sweepstakes Coins provide the promotional mode. The library also gives you significantly more choice. More than 700 slots are currently available, with new releases appearing regularly. Crown Coins remains fairly slot-heavy, so this isn’t necessarily the strongest alternative if live tables are your priority, but it comfortably beats Jokio on volume alone.
To keep the action flowing, you’ll also find daily rewards, missions, social media offers, weekly tournaments, weekend challenges, referrals, and a seven-level VIP club. That makes Crown Coins feel busier after registration than Jokio, where ongoing promotions are still fairly limited. The final points revolve around its inclusive nature. Our latest review found you can redeem eligible gift cards for just 50 SC, cash prizes for just 100 SC, and you can complete everything on the go with a dedicated app for iOS users.
Next up, we have Lonestar. On paper, this alternative to Jokio doesn’t have the largest library, which fits its approach. Moving from Jokio to a platform carrying 2,000 games may feel excessive if you prefer a smaller, cleaner lobby. LoneStar sits in the middle with more than 500 casino-style titles, including releases from established providers such as NetEnt and Relax Gaming.
The virtual-token setup is equally uncomplicated. Your GC and SC follow the standard approach of any other credible social casino, with your SC eventually leading to prize redemptions. Just bear in mind that you’ll need 45 SC to start the gift card redemption process. This rises to 100 SC for cash prizes.
To kick things off, you receive 100,000 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins through the current no-purchase welcome offer. Then, daily coin drops, optional Gold Coin purchases, and additional ongoing offers then keep things moving after registration.
Stake.us offers the biggest shift in scale. You move from an 80-game Jokio library to more than 2,000 casino-style titles. The selection covers slots, live dealer releases, table games, scratchcards, and Stake Originals. These in-house games give the lobby its own identity and include titles such as Mines, Dice, HiLo, and other quick-play options.
Using our exclusive bonus code DEADSPIN when you create an account currently releases 25 Stake Cash and 250,000 Gold Coins upfront. You can then claim a further 10,000 GC and 1 SC every day through the ongoing login offer, enter weekly raffles, look out for bonus drops, and enjoy the perks of the VIP club.
When looking at prize redemptions, all is kept straightforward with a +/- 50 SC minimum limit, but a 3x playthrough requirement is a little higher than the average.
McLuck is another top option for those of you on the lookout for a Jokio alternative. The clearest upgrade is the dedicated mobile access offered from McLuck. Here, you can enjoy the complete experience through iOS and Android apps, compared with Jokio’s mobile browser option.
Next, we have the library. McLuck currently carries more than 1,700 casino-style games, meaning you have considerably more room to switch between slots and other categories. The no-purchase sign-up bonus releases 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins, which is more than enough to get started. However, you’ll soon encounter optional Gold Coin purchases, daily rewards, tournaments, social jackpots, and a developed loyalty program.
Eligible gift card redemptions start from only 10 SC, and cash prizes begin at 75 SC. Making it an ideal spot for those specifically interested in Sweeps Coin action.
MyPrize.US makes the most sense if you were drawn to Jokio because it isn’t just another ordinary gaming site. As established, Jokio uses real horse races to power outcomes of casino-style games. At MyPrize.US, you’ll find a completely different direction has been taken with livestreams, creators, and social rooms taking the lead.
This doesn’t take away from the social gaming side of things at all. In fact, you’ll still find more than 1,800 casino-style titles, including slots, live dealers, tables, and MyPrize Originals. The current no-purchase package gives new members 50,000 Gold Coins and 5 Sweeps Cash, with 10 bonus spins included for those joining through the link in our latest comparison.
You should be aware that prize redemptions are a little higher than the average at 100 SC, but this is the only minor downside to an otherwise impressive offering.

At Jokio, you need to create an account, verify your email, complete your profile, pass identity checks, add real funds, and purchase Credits before you can properly engage with the wagering side of the platform. A sweepstakes alternative generally lets you go further before optional purchases come into play. The exact process changes between sites, but you can usually expect to:
Make use of our comparisons: To begin, you’d be wise to make the most of the banners on this page. Here, you’ll find our latest reviews on the best sweepstakes alternatives to Jokio.
Create an account: Click on the links within our reviews, find the Sign Up tab, and share your email address or link your social media account.
Confirm your eligibility: Age and state restrictions apply, so check these before you begin.
Verify your email: Some sites attach part of the no-purchase welcome package to this step, so be sure to check your emails and link your account.
Claim your new customer offer: The five alternatives covered here all provide a no-purchase opening offer that can be unlocked from the off.
Start by having fun: Use Gold Coins, Crown Coins, or the equivalent to test games without prize redemptions in mind.
Switch to promotional play when ready: Sweeps Coins or Stake Cash provide access to prize-eligible promotional gameplay.
Complete verification before redemption: KYC checks are generally required before you can request an eligible prize.
Optional Gold Coin packages may appear throughout the process, but you don’t need to purchase one simply to use the site. This is perhaps the biggest difference when moving away from Jokio.
There isn’t much benefit in leaving Jokio for another platform unless you know what you want to change. This section gives you some ideas.
Look at Crown Coins, LoneStar, Stake.us, or MyPrize.US. All four provide virtual tokens without requiring you to first fund the account and experience a loss. Stake.us currently gives you the largest immediate offer, thanks to our unique code DEADSPIN.
Again, Stake.us creates the largest jump, taking you from around 80 games to more than 2,000. McLuck is another strong option at 1,700+, while MyPrize.US comfortably clears the 1,800 mark.
McLuck has the cleanest answer, with native iOS and Android apps. Crown Coins also provides a proper iOS sweepstakes app and an Android PWA, while LoneStar offers an iOS app only. Jokio’s own PWA is convenient, but you have more mobile choices elsewhere.
McLuck starts eligible gift cards at 10 SC. LoneStar follows at 45 SC, with Crown Coins starting at 50 SC. Jokio requires at least $50 before requesting an ACH withdrawal. Again, sweepstakes redemptions and real-money withdrawals work differently, but lower gift-card limits may appeal if you prefer the idea of requesting redemptions in smaller increments.
When compared with top alternatives, Jokio’s weaknesses are relatively easy to identify. To start, the lobby offers only 80 games, available payment methods are limited, promotions remain fairly sparse, and it still lacks a dedicated mobile app.
However, replacing Jokio only makes sense if you are comfortable changing the underlying model. Jokio gives you genuine casino-style gaming that is backed by real-money pari-mutuel wagering outcomes.
Crown Coins, LoneStar, Stake.us, McLuck, and MyPrize.US don’t do that. They give you Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins (or equivalent) that can be enjoyed on casino-style games without needing to make a purchase. These games run on RNG/provably fair software to ensure outcomes remain random at all times.
On paper, the sweepstakes model brings several advantages: free virtual tokens, optional rather than necessary purchases, significantly larger gaming libraries, frequent promotions, and in several cases much stronger mobile products. It also means you are no longer participating in the same type of wagering.
Jokio has managed to create something genuinely different. The combination of pari-mutuel horse racing and casino-style gaming lets you access real-money wagering through a product that looks and feels much closer to a slots site. That unusual setup is also why there is no perfect Jokio alternative.
Crown Coins gives you a strong start, daily rewards, and more than 700 slots. LoneStar keeps the sweepstakes model simple while providing gift cards from 45 SC. Stake.us brings more than 2,000 games, and you can make use of our exclusive code (DEADSPIN) to kick things off. McLuck adds native apps and gift cards from only 10 SC. MyPrize.US combines a large lobby with creators, streams, and social rooms.
Each improves on a different part of Jokio, but each move also sees you enter the sweepstakes gaming umbrella. We suggest using the banners on this page to ensure that you find the right match for you.
Yes. Crown Coins, LoneStar, Stake.us, McLuck, and MyPrize.US currently provide no-purchase virtual tokens to eligible new members. Optional Gold Coin or equivalent purchases may be available later, but they aren’t necessary to create an account and begin playing.
McLuck currently allows gift card redemptions from 10 SC. LoneStar starts gift cards at 45 SC, while Crown Coins requires 50 SC. Cash prize redemption requirements are different, so make sure you compare the specific prize type you want before getting started.
Jokio doesn’t use the same free virtual-currency model as a sweepstakes casino. Its opening Creditback offer can return qualifying first-day net losses as Bonus Credits up to the current cap, while selected existing users may receive Monday Boost rewards.
Yes. Jokio has a responsive mobile website and a Progressive Web App. There is no native iOS or Android application at present.
A sweepstakes casino may suit you if you prefer free entertainment play, optional purchases, a larger selection of games, daily bonuses, loyalty programs, or different prize redemption options. Jokio remains the more appropriate model if genuine pari-mutuel real-money wagering is specifically what you want.
