Tampa Radio Host Who Called NFL Free Agents "Monkeys" Is No Longer Tampa Radio Host

Dan Sileo, who responded to rumors of Jonathan Vilma, Cortland Finnegan, and Vincent Jackson coming to Tampa Bay with an excited "If they get those three monkeys, I'll be good," needs a new job. WDAE cut ties with Sileo today, a day after his remarks.

WDAE put out an apologetic statement last night, and Sileo hosted his morning show as usual this morning, but something happened since.

While he would not use the word "fired,'' WDAE program director Steve Versnick did confirm Tuesday that, "Dan Sileo is no longer with WDAE. We wish him the best.''

We hope Sileo can at least take solace in the fact that Vincent Jackson is Tampa-bound.
