There Was Violence At The Eagles Tailgate
The Eagles have the late game today, which probably isn’t the best-case scenario for Philadelphia. People have been tailgating since 6 a.m. Maybe earlier. The parking lots were a sea of trash by mid-afternoon.
NJ.com had a photographer in the parking lot who caught a brawl in Lot M about three and a half hours before gametime. Six horse cops rode into the fracas to break it up.
NJ.com took pains to say this was an intrasquad brawl: “The fight was between Eagles’ fans and the police officers, and it doesn’t appear any Vikings’ fans were involved.”
But that wasn’t always the case. Other Eagles fans decided to harass Vikings fans by apparently throwing full cans of beer at them as they walked through the parking lot.
Fortunately, all the throws appeared to miss.
