Tommy Morrison's Immediate Cause Of Death: Cardiac Arrest
According to the death certificate of Tommy Morrison, the 44-year-old boxer who tested positive for HIV in 1996 died of cardiac arrest on Sunday.
TMZ has the full document if you want to look, but the immediate cause of death was listed as cardiac arrest, as a consequence of multiple organ failure, septic shock, and pseudomonas aeruginosa septicemia. TMZ points out that AIDS or HIV isn't mentioned anywhere on the certificate, but one of the possible predisposing conditions for pseudomonas aeruginosa septicemia is immunodeficiency relating to AIDS.
Morrison's body has already been cremated without an autopsy performed, according to the certificate.
