Yes, That Is Mark Cuban Wearing A Suit
The Dallas Mavericks ( minus Delonte West) are getting the NBA Champions' treatment at the White House today, which for coach Rick Carlisle means a chance to tickle the ivories.
Of greater interest, though, is this group shot in which Mavs owner Mark Cuban is seen wearing the requisite business suit appropriate to such a formal occasion. Why is this at all interesting? Because Cuban doesn't wear suits, and a photo of him even sporting a tie is of such mythic proportions it's like spotting Bigfoot.
Cuban decreed in 2007 he'd never again wear a suit except for weddings and funerals, though he's been reluctantly clad in one for a handful of court appearances. It seems like a White House visit would be a good opportunity for Cuban to spread his business-casual gospel, and he wouldn't even be the first visitor to draw attention for informal garb there.
Regardless, enjoy this shot of Cuban in a suit—there's no way of predicting when we'll see the next one. [ @NBA]
