Ditched By Jeets, Jeb Turns To Pitbull
Photo credit: Charles Sykes/ [object Object] Jeb’s pursuit of the Miami Marlins hit a bit of a snag when he ended his partnership with Jeets, perhaps because Jeets wasn’t pulling his financial weight. Jeb has reportedly found a new partner to bring some star power to his bid, though. According to the , Pitbull is now on Team Jeb.
From the Herald:
A spokesman for Armando Christian Peréz, best known as the Miami-based rapper Pitbull, confirmed Tuesday that the celebrity is joining the investment group that includes the former Florida governor, a CNBC star, and the son of former presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
“Yes, he is part of the group,” Peréz spokesman Tom Muzquiz said. He declined to elaborate.
Meanwhile, Jeets has linked up with billionaire Bruce Sherman and is reportedly still in the running to purchase the Marlins. Those who were once friends are now bitter enemies, and only one man can emerge victorious. Will Pitbull’s charisma and shiny head put Jeb over the top? Or are they no match for the deep pockets of Jeets’s new friend. Jeb or Jeets!! Who will it be?!
