Referee Ejects Unruly Front-Row Memphis Fan
A Memphis fan in primo seats earned an ejection from officials during tonight's game against UCF at FedEx Forum, and he nearly had to be removed by force.
It's not clear what the fan did to earn the ejection, and we're assuming that like Jeff Orr, he's a big-time donor to afford court-side seats. We'll try to learn more about what happened, but in the meantime know that the Tiger faithful gave the alleged miscreant a standing ovation. [ESPN2]
Update (10:07 p.m.): We're told the fan who was ejected is local Memphis booster and casino bigwig Romeo Khazen— who is apparently pals with DeAngelo Williams.
