18-2 run vaults Louisville past Georgia Tech

Center. credits: Jamie Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports Kaleb Glenn scored 15 points on 7-for-10 shooting and grabbed 13 rebounds, and Louisville rallied for a 79-67 win over visiting Georgia Tech in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup on Saturday evening.
Tre White scored 14 points for Louisville (8-16, 3-10 ACC), which won for the second time in its past three games. Brandon Huntley-Hatfield finished with 12 points and nine rebounds, and Ty-Laur Johnson added 12 points off the bench.
Miles Kelly scored 36 points on 11-for-20 shooting, including 6-for-11 shooting from beyond the arc, to lead the Yellow Jackets. Carter Murphy added eight points off the bench for Georgia Tech (10-14, 3-10), which lost its third straight game.
Louisville outscored Georgia Tech 49-35 in the second half to secure the win.
The Cardinals finished with a 20-7 advantage in second-chance points and had the rebounding edge as well, 41-36. Nine of Glenn's board came on the offensive end.
The Yellow Jackets seized a 54-47 lead when Kelly made a 3-pointer off an assist from Ibrahima Sacko.
Kelly added to Georgia Tech's lead with a pair of free throws with 8:15 remaining. That increased the cushion to 60-51.
Louisville battled back with an 18-2 run to grab a 69-62 lead with 2:23 remaining. Brandon Huntley-Hatfield made a layup to finish the binge.
The Cardinals maintained their lead from that point forward. Glenn and White made layups in the final two minutes to assure the win.
Skyy Clark made two free throws to even the score at 62-62 with 4:25 to play.
Glenn made a dunk with 3:45 left to put Louisville on top 64-62.
Georgia Tech led 32-30 at the half.
Louisville led by as many as six points in the first half. Johnson made a pair of free throws to put the Cardinals on top 17-11 with 8:31 to go before the break.
Thirteen seconds later, Kelly made a 3-pointer to pull Georgia Tech within 17-14. The Yellow Jackets finished the first half on a 21-13 run to grab a two-point lead at the intermission.
