A Frustrated Neil Everett Muttered "Son Of A Bitch, Goddammitdangit" Live On SportsCenter
An apparently rough episode of SportsCenter got the best of anchor Neil Everett tonight, as going to break a hot microphone caught the personality muttering some mildly inappropriate language at the end of tonight's 1 a.m. show.
The language appeared to catch co-anchor Stan Verrett by surprise, and the requisite apology followed from Everett as soon as ESPN returned to air. Nobody really gives a shit, and Everett appeared rather mortified afterward to have realized what happened—and this is, in the end, on the audio person in Bristol for keeping his mic open. It's amusing nonetheless. [ESPN]
Update (2:18 a.m.): Some of you are suggesting he said "goddangit."
