A Weather Forecast Unlike Any Other
This image was lost some time after publication, but you can still view it [object Object] . They are getting in some golf today at The Masters, despite some nasty storms passing through the area. A lot of players are on the course right now, and some are making the most of the soft greens. Miguel Angel Jimenez, Jose Maria Olazabal, Tim Herron, and Jim Furyk are all 2-under-par on the day.
The last group, consisting of Chad Campbell and Rocco Mediate, isn't set to tee off until 2:50, and TV coverage begins at 3:30. According to the hourly forecast from the Weather Channel, the afternoon will go something like this:
3 pm: Strong Storms 4 pm: Strong Storms 5 pm: Strong Storms 6 pm: Strong Storms 7 pm: Scattered Strong Storms
The Weather Channel people have assigned a Spectator Index of "3" to the day, on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best and 1 being the worst. If Strong Storms all day merits a 3, what's it take to get a 1? Volleyball-sized hail in a tornado while you can only watch Vijay Singh and Phil Mickelson wrestle nude in Rae's Creek in front of the 12th green?
By the way, I'm going to beat the "unlike any other" thing into the fucking ground this weekend. Prepare for it.
