Actually, HERE'S Your Next Inspiring Real Life Story
We don't mean to take the piss out of AJ Daulerio's work earlier today, but it turns out that we already know what the next real-life baseball story will be dramatized on the big screen: It's Jose Canseco's!
Nine Yards Entertainment has optioned the rights to Jose Canseco's sports tell-all "Juiced: Wild Times, Rampant 'Roids, Smash Hits and How Baseball Got Big" and will produce with Canseco. Scribe Kipp Marcus has been hired to adapt the book, which details the baseballer's use of performance-enhancing anabolic steroids starting as a player in his 20s with a small-time farm team and ending up as a star with the Oakland Athletics. He was named the 1988 American League MVP.
First off, Canseco's producing this movie, which is strangely awesome: We imagine him having a most daunting casting couch. And you know the guy writing the movie? His name is Kipp Marcus, and he's most famous for for playing Officer Randy Parker in . There is absolutely no way we will not go see this movie.
