Ahman Green Arrested On Child Abuse Charges
Photo via Brown County Sheriff’s Department Former Packers running back Ahman Green was arrested yesterday in Ledgeview, Wisc., on one count of physical abuse of a child and one count of disorderly conduct.
According to a criminal complaint detailing the incident, Green was arrested after allegedly hitting his 15-year-old daughter, identified only by her initials, in the face because she wouldn’t do the dishes. Green allegedly became angry when his daughter refused to do the dishes, threw her onto the ground in the kitchen, and then struck her in the face. From the complaint:
The arresting deputies interviewed Green, who said he may have gotten physical with his daughter and ripped her shirt. The report says that Green told the deputies that he may have hit her glasses when he “slapped [her] upside the head,” thus causing an injury to her eye. The report states that the arresting officers observed a “small mark” just above her left eye.
