The fight, for the bantamweight belt, is now off the card; the interim middleweight title fight involving Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker is now the main event, according to MMAFighting.com.
Nunes defeated Miesha Tate for the title last year and most recently fought against Ronda Rousey, obliterating the former champ in less than a minute.
