An Interview With Ove Johansson, The Man Who Kicked The Longest Field Goal Ever

But no one on record has matched Ove Johansson, the now 64-year-old Swede, who kicked a 69-yard field goal for the Abilene Christian Wildcats at homecoming in 1976. On this week's excerpt from Slate's Hang Up and Listen, Stefan Fatsis, kickers' Boswell, spoke with Johansson.
