Anthony Duclair, Islanders hand Canucks 11th straight loss

Mandatory Credit: Bob Frid-Imagn Images Anthony Duclair scored a pair of game-tying goals as the New York Islanders came from behind to win at Vancouver 4-3 on Monday night, sending the Canucks to their 11th consecutive loss.
Tony DeAngelo collected a goal and an assist and Ryan Pulock also scored for the Islanders, who improved to 3-2-1 on their seven-game road trip and 6-3-1 over their past 10 games. Matthew Schaefer and Mathew Barzal chipped in two helpers apiece.
Ilya Sorokin made 29 saves for the Islanders, who are 13-9-3 on the road this season and 7-0-3 in their past 10 visits to Vancouver.
Max Sasson, Evander Kane and Drew O'Connor tallied for the Canucks, who are on an 0-9-2 skid and dropped to a league-worst 4-14-3 on home ice this season.
Kevin Lankinen stopped 28 shots.
DeAngelo put home a loose puck at 10:15 of the third period to give the Islanders a 4-2 lead -- the eventual game-winner.
Vancouver pulled within 4-3 at 18:09 of the third, when O'Connor tipped Filip Hronek's point shot past Sorokin, but the Canucks could not find the equalizer.
The Islanders scored twice in a 1:24 span of the second period to take their first lead of the game.
Duclair leveled the score 2-2 on a power play at 14:34 of the middle frame, one-timing a Calum Ritchie pass past Lankinen for his second of the night. Duclair has seven goals over his last seven games.
New York took a 3-2 lead at 15:58 of the second as Pulock snapped a Schaefer feed past Lankinen.
Vancouver outshot New York 12-9 in the first period and led 2-1 after 20 minutes.
Sasson opened the scoring, one-timing a cross-ice feed from Linus Karlsson at 2:49.
New York tied it 1-1 at 10:11 as Duclair snapped a DeAngelo pass short-side past Lankinen.
Kane restored the Canucks' lead, tipping defenseman Elias Pettersson's point shot past Sorokin at 14:48.
Canucks goaltender Jiri Patera, who received an emergency recall from AHL Abbotsford on Sunday, backed up Lankinen against the Islanders.
