Anthony Santander belts 2 HRs, Orioles top Phillies

Mandatory Credit: Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports Anthony Santander homered twice and drove in four runs as the Baltimore Orioles edged the visiting Philadelphia Phillies 6-2 in a matchup of two of the top teams in the major leagues Saturday.
In between Santander's homers in the fourth and eighth innings, he provided a tie-breaking sixth-inning sacrifice fly.
Gunnar Henderson, Ryan O'Hearn and Ramon Urias joined Santander in having two hits for the Orioles, who snapped a two-game skid that followed a season-best six-game winning streak.
Grayson Rodriguez (8-2) worked seven innings for the victory, holding the Phillies to two runs on seven hits with six strikeouts and a walk. Craig Kimbrel recorded three strikeouts in the ninth.
Alec Bohm had two hits, including a double, and Edmundo Sosa homered for the Phillies.
Taijuan Walker (3-2) took the loss, allowing three runs on six hits in 5 2/3 innings.
This came after Friday night's late-night finish with the Phillies pulling out a 5-3, 11-inning victory to open the series in a matchup that included more than a 60-minute rain delay after the 10th inning.
Bohm, whose double drove in the go-ahead run in the 11th Friday night, used a two-out, first-inning double to drive in Saturday's first run.
Sosa's homer to lead off the second inning was his fifth of the season.
The Orioles made it 2-1 in the third inning on Adley Rutschman's sacrifice fly.
Santander, whose eighth-inning home run tied Friday night's game, has 17 long balls this year, including eight this month. His solo shot in the fourth inning tied Saturday's game and then he had a two-run blast in the eighth. He also reached on a walk.
Baltimore's sixth inning began with singles by Ryan Mountcastle and O'Hearn before Santander's sacrifice fly put the Orioles up 3-2.
The Orioles finished with 11 hits, stranding eight runners.
Phillies reliever Jose Ruiz was charged with three runs and five hits in the eighth.
