Anti-Gay Comments Land Evander Holyfield In Big Brother Hot Water

It took all of two days for Evander Holyfield to face eviction on the British version of Celebrity Big Brother after the former heavyweight champ told a housemate that homosexuality was "abnormal" and a condition that could be "fixed" like "a handicapped person."

You can watch the whole segment above, but it's really stupid. Holyfield makes almost no sense in attempting to respond to Luisa Zissman's question about whether there are any gay boxers; insisting that being gay "is a choice," he launches into a bizarre comparison to disabled people.

Holyfield somehow managed to escape eviction, and a spokesperson for the program released the following statement:

Evander was told that his views weren't shared by a large section of society and that expressing those views and the language he used could be seen as extremely offensive to many people. He was warned to think carefully about repeating them. Evander understood and accepted this.

Meanwhile, Holyfield's snoring has managed to annoy the rest of his housemates.
