Arsenal's Jack Wilshere Took A Studs-Up Boot To The Crotch Yesterday

Gunners star Jack Wilshere entered a world of pain yesterday in the first half of Arsenal's match at Reading, when Royals midfielder Jobi McAnuff delivered a boot square to Wilshere's balls.

The blow earned McAnuff a yellow card, though it's not clear how intentional was the contact. It was a regrettable challenge, nonetheless, and Arsenal got its revenge with a 5-2 win. Curiously, though, it was how Wilshere recovered from the shot that had all the Internets talking; some say the lad found it to be a visible turn-on. [ESPN2]
