Astralis rally to stay alive at PGL Bucharest

Jordan Woodruff Astralis rallied to stay alive with a 2-1 win against Legacy on Wednesday at the $625,000 PGL Bucharest 2025 event in Romania.
Legacy opened the Round 4 low match with a 13-7 win on Dust II but Astralis answered with a 13-7 win on Ancient and a marathon 19-16 victory on Nuke, eliminating Legacy.
The other Round 4 low matches were both decided by sweeps, with Team Falcons knocking out Rare Atom and The MongolZ eliminating FURIA. Falcons won 13-6 on Inferno and 13-2 on Train, while MongolZ posted a 13-9 win on Mirage and a 13-11 decision on Nuke.
The group stage is operating under the Swiss system format, with eight teams advancing to the playoff stage once they win three matches.
G2 Esports, 3DMAX, GamerLegion, Complexity and Aurora Gaming already have qualified for the single-elimination playoffs. All matches are best-of-three until Sunday's best-of-five grand final, with the winner earning $200,000.
