Through seven innings, the Astros led 7-0.
Arrighetti, making his 24th career start, has struck out nine and walked four. He has thrown 53 of 86 pitches for strikes as he chases Houston's second no-hitter of the season. Ronel Blanco blanked the Toronto Blue Jays 10-0 on April 1.
Arrighetti, 24, entered the contest with a 6-11 record and 4.94 ERA.
The Astros have had 17 no-hitters in their history, including their combined no-hitter against the Phillies in Game 4 of the 2022 World Series.
