Houston Astros rookie right-hander Spencer Arrighetti has not allowed a hit through seven innings against the host Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday.

Through seven innings, the Astros led 7-0.

Arrighetti, making his 24th career start, has struck out nine and walked four. He has thrown 53 of 86 pitches for strikes as he chases Houston's second no-hitter of the season. Ronel Blanco blanked the Toronto Blue Jays 10-0 on April 1.

Arrighetti, 24, entered the contest with a 6-11 record and 4.94 ERA.

The Astros have had 17 no-hitters in their history, including their combined no-hitter against the Phillies in Game 4 of the 2022 World Series.
