Baylor Receiver Caught On Video Beating Dog
Baylor wide receiver Ishmael Zamora was recently caught on camera whipping his dog, a black Rottweiler, with a belt and stomping it. The video was obtained by News Channel 25 and can be viewed here.
When contacted by the news station, Zamora offered the following response:
“I lost my temper trying to discipline him,” Zamora said. “I’ve been through training with a dog trainer to help me learn new potty training tips.”
Jim Grobe—the same coach who said there would be a “zero-tolerance policy” for misbehavior and said in full seriousness, “We don’t have a culture of bad behavior at Baylor University,”—informed The Zamora will not be removed from the Bears’ fall practices.
The dog, per Zamora’s Instagram, is a Good Dog and has been with Zamora for at least 51 weeks now. Sometimes good dogs pee inside—it’s a part of life that comes with owning and maintaining the lovable animals.
Always remember that there’s no such thing as shitty dogs, just shitty people.
