Bears CB Kyler Gordon set to make season debut

Chicago Bears cornerback Kyler Gordon is set to make his season debut Monday against the host Washington Commanders after working his way through a hamstring injury.
Gordon, 25, signed a three-year, $40 million contract extension during the offseason after making 207 tackles with five interceptions and 17 passes defended in 42 games (34 starts) over three seasons with the Bears. He did not have an injury designation in the Bears' most recent injury report.
The new contract made Gordon the highest paid slot corner in the NFL, per media reports.
Chicago right tackle Darnell Wright, who had been dealing with a right elbow injury, also was a full participant in practice Saturday. He is expected to play against the Commanders as well.
