Bears vs. Seahawks Prediction and Best Bet for Monday Night Football

Mandatory Credit: Talia Sprague-Imagn Images The Seattle Seahawks will host the Chicago Bears in a pivotal NFC matchup on Monday Night Football. Both teams are second in their respective divisions, and this game could have major implications come the playoffs. Overall, the Bears own a 5-2 record, while the Seahawks are 4-3.
Home-field advantage is going to be the biggest key to this bet. Seattle is drastically better at home, and Chicago’s defense has failed to travel in 2026.
The Seahawks have been a fairly average offense this season, but they’re averaging 0.391 points per play at home. They’ve faced a couple of stout defenses, but they posted 59 total points against the Los Angeles Chargers and San Francisco 49ers.
The Bears’ defense hasn’t traveled well in 2026, as they’re giving up a league-high 0.532 points per play on the road. Opponents are averaging 30.3 points per game against them outside of Chicago. We’ve seen the Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers score 37 and 31 points against them, respectively.
On the other side, Seattle remains one of the most difficult places in the NFL for opposing offenses. They’re allowing only 0.282 points per play at home in 2026. They’re giving up only 19 points per game in Seattle, and that number is slightly inflated by a difficult matchup against San Francisco.
The Bears have performed well on the road offensively, but their numbers are a bit inflated by their Week 1 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. They posted 59 points in that game, as Carolina didn’t have any answer for their run game.
In two road games since then, they scored only seven points against Green Bay and 31 against the Atlanta Falcons. This should ultimately be one of the toughest road matchups they’ll get this season.
Bears vs. Seahawks MNF Picks
This is a situation where Seattle should find plenty of offensive success. They’re dealing with a few injuries, but they shouldn’t have many issues moving the ball against this defense. If they can limit their turnovers, they should be able to consistently put points on the board.
The spread then comes down to whether or not Chicago can match those points, and I prefer Seattle’s defense at home. The Bears are too good of an offense to get shut down completely, but they should struggle to keep up with Seattle’s success.
