Bengals, Panthers Waste Everyone's Time, Tie
The Bengals and Panthers played four quarters and couldn't find a winner. They played another 15 minutes, but the game ended at 37-37. You know what that means: No one's happy!
Carolina forced overtime with a Graham Gano field goal as time expired. The Bengals earned possession first in OT and put together a six-minute drive that resulted in a Mike Nugent field goal. The Panthers had their chance on offense, and cobbled their own six-minute drive, but Gano kicked another field goal. Then, nothing happened. Good game.
Odd trivia: Today's game makes three straight seasons with a tie. The 49ers and Rams tied in 2012, and the Packers and Vikings did in 2013. The last three-season span was 1987-89.
