Best NBA Betting Picks for Wednesday Feb. 11th Slate
Bettors will soon have to take a short break from putting money down on the NBA with the upcoming All-Star Break. Maybe that’s why the league is giving us a 14-game slate on Wednesday (but just three on Thursday).
So let’s take advantage of a busy day in the NBA and break down our best bets.
We can all have our own opinion as to what makes one wager a “best bet.” I tend to focus on the more interesting matchups, which are often the games broadcast nationally in primetime.
New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers
Pick: Knicks ML +105 (DraftKings)
The Knicks and 76ers have already met three times this season, with Philadelphia winning two of those matchups.
New York opened as the favorite, but the spread has since shifted toward Philly. The Knicks were decimated by Indiana from beyond the arc in their last outing, but I don’t think the 76ers are built to replicate that kind of perimeter shooting performance.
Both teams are coming off losses and would love to head into the break with momentum. This should be a close, hard-fought contest decided in the final minutes.
Either team could win — but I’m taking the value with the underdog Knicks.

Detroit Pistons vs. Toronto Raptors
Pick: Under 223.5 (-110, FanDuel)
Both teams enter this matchup on two-game winning streaks, looking to head into the break with a third straight victory.
Detroit struggled from deep against Charlotte, hitting just 5-of-25 from beyond the arc, but otherwise played well in a 110-104 win over a red-hot Hornets squad.
Toronto is coming off a 122-104 victory over Indiana, marking its seventh win in the last 10 games. Scottie Barnes led the way with 25 points as the Raptors completed the season sweep of the Pacers.
With both teams playing solid basketball on both ends, it’s no surprise the spread is tight.
If suspensions stem from the late-game scuffle in Detroit’s last contest, I’d consider Toronto on the moneyline. But assuming full lineups, I like this game to stay under the total. Both defenses have been sharp lately, and injuries could further suppress scoring.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Golden State Warriors
Pick: Spurs -5.5 (-110, DraftKings)
Golden State already beat San Antonio twice on the road back in November, and beating a team twice on its home floor is no small feat.
However, those wins came with Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler active.
Neither will play in this game.
San Antonio is coming off a matchup against an injury-depleted Lakers team in Los Angeles and will be looking for its sixth straight win heading into the All-Star Break.
With Golden State missing its primary offensive engines, it’s difficult to see how the Warriors keep pace.
San Antonio should cover comfortably.
