Blackhawks place G Petr Mrazek (groin) on injured reserve

Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Petr Mrazek was placed on injured reserve on Sunday after sustaining a groin injury in the first period of a 4-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday.
Mrazek got banged up following a save near the post in the opening frame, left the game and did not return. He stopped all four shots he faced prior to his departure.
"I think the prognosis is 1-2 weeks, but we're definitely hoping for one week," interim coach Anders Sorensen said Sunday.
Mrazek, 32, is 7-11-1 this season with a 2.83 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage in 20 starts. He is 175-166-39 with a 2.80 GAA and .907 save percentage in 410 games (379 starts) for five different teams over 13 NHL seasons.
With backup goaltender Laurent Brossoit already on injured reserve because of a knee injury that required surgery, Arvid Soderblom is in line to take over in between the pipes for Chicago.
"Obviously, not the optimal way to start the game," Sorensen said of Saturday's loss. "I thought Sody came in and played well, but Petr's been such a big part of what's going on here. Hopefully, it's not too long."
Soderblom, 25, is 1-6-1 with a 2.46 GAA and .919 save percentage in eight games (seven starts) this season.
Chicago recalled goalie Drew Commesso and defenseman Kevin Korchinski from AHL affiliate Rockford.
