The Flyers took a 2-0 lead at 4:29 of the third period as Konecny skated and somehow tucked the puck under the pads of Tarasov. It was Konecny's 20th goal of the season.

Rasmus Ristolainen, who was playing in his 700th career game, had two strong shots on goal midway through the period. Tarasov was in position to make both saves.
