Blues’ Colton Parayko (knee) expected to miss 6 weeks

The St. Louis Blues said Thursday that defenseman Colton Parayko will be reevaluated in six weeks after suffering a left knee injury.
Parayko, 31, went down Wednesday night in the Blues' 3-2 shootout win over the Los Angeles Kings. He will undergo a scope of his knee, Blues general manager Doug Armstrong said in a news release.
The top-pair defenseman was in the midst of a career season. Parayko has played in 62 of the Blues' 63 games, and his 15 goals are already five clear of his previous best. His 35 points matched a career high.
The St. Albert, Alta., native leads the Blues in time on ice (23:51 per game) and blocked shots (140) and he was also selected to play for Canada in the 4 Nations Face-Off last month.
In a 10-year NHL career spent entirely with St. Louis, Parayko has tallied 76 goals and 218 assists in 721 appearances.
