Bob Welch, who spent 17 years with the Dodgers and A's, died today at the age of 57. Welch was the last pitcher to win at least 25 games, going 27-6 in his 1990 Cy Young season.
He also had a ridiculous fastball. If you've got the time, watch Welch blow away Reggie Jackson in the 1978 World Series.
