Boston gets by Minnesota in 2OT, forces Game 5

Mandatory Credit: Brian Fluharty-USA TODAY Sports Alina Muller kept Boston's season alive on Sunday, scoring at 18:36 of double overtime for a 1-0 victory over Minnesota in Game 4 of the first-ever PWHL finals in Saint Paul, Minn.
Boston now has a chance to take the best-of-five series -- and the Walter Cup, awarded to the league champion -- on home ice. The teams will meet for Game 5 on Wednesday in Lowell, Mass.
Aerin Frankel was on the ice for 98:36 and made 33 saves to record the shutout for Boston. Nicole Hensley also faced 33 shots but stopped just 32, preventing Minnesota from closing out the series.
It looked like Boston was going to extend the series earlier than it actually did when Minnesota's Emma Greco was whistled for tripping at 12:31 of the second extra session. But the visitors came up empty on the power play, and they finished 0-for-4 on the woman advantage.
Heartbreak also struck Minnesota in the form of a disallowed goal in the second overtime. The hosts failed to convert on five power plays for the game.
Grace Zumwinkle led Minnesota with five shots on goal.
