Braves-Padres postponed by rain

Saturday night's game between the San Diego Padres and host Atlanta Braves was postponed because of rain.
"We had been hopeful that we would find conditions suitable to play; however, after further consultation with the weather service, radar indicates unsuitable conditions for starting the game," the Braves said in a statement.
The teams will play a day-night doubleheader on Monday to complete the four-game series. The Padres won the opener Friday night, 3-1.
Game 1 on Monday will be played as scheduled at 12:20 p.m. ET. The second game of the doubleheader has been scheduled for 6:20 p.m. ET.
