Brewers' Jackson Chourio downplays leg cramp

LOS ANGELES -- Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Jackson Chourio expects to be back in action for Game 4 of the National League Championship Series on Friday after leaving Game 3 due to a right leg cramp.
In the seventh inning on Thursday, Chourio fouled off a pitch into the stands against Dodgers right-hander Blake Treinen and immediately left the batter's box favoring his right leg.
After a quick visit from the Milwaukee training staff, Chourio hopped back to the dugout and was replaced by Blake Perkins, who struck out with the Brewers trailing 3-1 in the game. Los Angeles closed out the win by that score to take a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series.
Chourio said postgame, "Just a cramp there. So I think maybe I tried to pull the trigger a little bit too hard there and that's maybe what caused it. ... I think right now I feel physically good and I think tomorrow I can be playing."
He added, "I think that's the first time in my life that something like that happened to me. It sucks because I felt like I had the ability to do something for us there in the game. But yeah, first time in my life that it's happened to me and I hope it doesn't happen again."
Chourio, 21, batted .270 with 21 home runs and 78 RBIs in 131 regular-season games this year. He was 8-for-25 (.320) with two home runs and eight RBIs over his first seven playoff games before going 0-for-4 on Thursday.
Chourio came out of Game 1 of the NL Division Series against the Chicago Cubs due to a slight right hamstring strain, but he has started every game in the postseason for Milwaukee.
