Brian Cashman: A-Rod "Should Just Shut The Fuck Up"
Alex Rodriguez got some good news today: he can play in actual baseball games! It's exciting stuff for A-Rod, so much so that he got on his recently created Twitter account and told the world all about it.
Visit from Dr. Kelly over the weekend, who gave me the best news - the green light to play games again! http://t.co/RuzfXOJjHI

That's great news for A-Rod and great news for the Yankees—only problem is, Brian Cashman was .
"You know what, when the Yankees want to announce something, [we will]," Cashman told ESPN New York. "Alex should just shut the f—- up. That's it. I'm going to call Alex now."
On Monday, Cashman denied that A-Rod had been cleared to play, though he did offer that he was getting closer. Cashman further clarified that Dr. Kelly does not really have the authority to clear Rodriguez, he was only involved in the surgery and rehab in New York. Now that A-Rod is in Tampa, that is apparently someone else's call.
Which—if the doctor doesn't have the authority—makes you wonder why Cashman is so upset about the announcement in the first place. Probably has something to do with everyone in baseball, including his own team, hating A-Rod.
