Broncos Beat Saints With Wild Defensive Two-Point Conversion
With just under two minutes left in the fourth quarter, the New Orleans Saints scored a crucial touchdown to tie the Denver Broncos at 23 points apiece.
Going for the extra point, Broncos safety Will Parks jumped over the line to block the kick, and ran it back into the endzone for a defensive two-point conversion. After a review to determine if Parks stayed in bounds upheld the call, the Broncos took a knee and won it 25-23.
The Saints happened to have been the first team to ever score a defensive two-point conversion in the NFL since the league changed its extra point rules. Ouch.
