Broncos RB Tyler Badie injures back, out for rest of Jets game

Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement Neitzel-Imagn Images Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie has been ruled out after he was taken to the locker room via spine board at the end of the first quarter during Sunday's meeting with the host New York Jets.
Badie lost a fumble with 2:07 left in the opening frame after getting drilled in the back by New York linebacker Quincy Williams. He was then seen laying down on the sideline, with Denver medical personnel strapping him onto the board.
Moments later, it was announced that Badie was questionable to return due to a back injury. He was showing some movement on the sideline before heading to the locker room, and later he was downgraded to out for the remainder of the game.
Badie, 24, had two catches for minus-4 yards prior to his departure. He also had one carry for no gain.
