Mandatory Credit: Peter Casey-Imagn Images Cleveland Browns kicker Andre Szmyt and wide receiver/returner DeAndre Carter are expected to play against the visiting Green Bay Packers on Sunday after having their respective questionable designations removed by the team.
Szmyt is good to go for this weekend's game after his MRI checked out OK on a calf injury he sustained in practice Friday.
Carter, in turn, cleared concussion protocol and will be on the field Sunday for the Browns (0-2) against the Packers (2-0).
Szmyt, 26, misfired on an extra-point try and a 36-yard field goal in the Browns' one-point loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the season opener. He rebounded to make his lone field-goal attempt and both PATs in last Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Carter, 32, is averaging 23.6 yards per return on kickoffs in two games this season.
Also on Saturday, the Browns elevated wide receiver Kaden Davis and cornerback Dom Jones from the practice squad.
